My question is can I use a dynamic DNS such as no-ip in the Remote MySQL? When I tryed I still can’t access my databases.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Marlon, on the Remote Database page, you may enter “%” which will allow access from any IP address which would be beneficial in this case. As always, ensure you are using strong passwords πŸ™‚

Hello Marlon,

I hope this comment finds you well!

Because of the way the remote database access works, a dynamic DNS provider would not work in this situation. This is because the Host/IP address (what our server sees) of your computer that is trying to access the server is not technically β€œin” the allowed list for remote hosts.

However, depending on how your ISP issues new IP addresses, you may be able to use an IP range. For example, if your IP always starts with β€œ123.123…” you could put the host as β€œ123.123.%.%”.

I hope this information helps and I hope you are able to find a solution that works for you.
