I wanted to follow up on this, as it appears I misread your initial query, and I apologise. While my initial response is correct if you are transferring the domain FROM us TO another registrar, there is a fee of $12 to transfer a domain name to us. This adds one year of registration to the domain, as well.

There is no charge from us – the gaining registrar would be the one to charge you, and it would depend entirely on them. Normally, it is the cost of one year domain registration, but a year is added to the domain as well.
