Is there any way for me to check status or give
instructions to the software which is doing this filtering?
Does it run on my own server, or on a central site5 server?

Answer #1

My original question got interpreted by an HTML filter.

There should be a \ before the first colon on the first line. Otherwise I think it reproduced correctly.
