How can I setup a django based site?

I am considering building a django based web application and would like to host it on my existing Site5 hosted site. Does someone have a nice set of instructions for how to do this? I have searched the KnowledgeBase and Q&A but have not found much at all.

Also, if possible, I would like to use current versions. So Python 1.7.3+ and Django 1.4.2+, for example.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
