I’ve got a repo on Github that I want to work with on my host basic server. Is there a way to add my host basic server’s public SSH key to my Github account so I don’t have to enter the username/password for each transaction with the github repo?
Not really, no. The server doesn’t really have a general key that can be used in this fashion – you would need to set up one yourself for your specific account, or simply login as normal.
