The only difference is how Windows 8 uses the Start button – you need to move your mouse to the bottom left corner, and right-click on the Start button. In the context menu that pops out, click Run, and enter ‘cmd’ (without the quotes) in the text box. From there, the steps are exactly the same as that knowledgebase article 🙂
