We recently installed a new Mediawiki version and all their associated components.

AccessControlExtension – 2.1
We noticed that some features didnt’t work, specifically in what concerns access restriction for some pages. In the past we used groups, defined from a page, like this :
a new page was created using … title=Usergroup:Group_A , with this content (list of users)
* user2
* user3
to allow only these users, on restricted pages, to edit them, we started a new page with:
Group_A
Now, this doesn’t work. They don’t have permissions, even to view the page. Can anybody give me a tip on how to solve this? Thank you very much

It sounds as if the extension may not be functioning properly. We would be glad to take a look and see if we can assist in any way. Can you please contact support by opening a ticket through backstage? Once it comes in, we’ll gladly see if anything stands out that might be causing the problems.
