How to transfer files from an expired domain to active domain?

I had several domains hosted at site5 (multihost account). I let some of them expire and would like to move/copy some of the files from the expired sites to my still active site/domain.

I still have access to the files but can no longer ftp to the site because the DNS info is no longer valid. Is there a way to ftp to the sites using IP and then change directories into the expired sites? Or if not, how can I get the files I need – there are way too many for me to download them file by file using the FileManager cPanel function.

If you contact our support team, they can tell you the alternate hostnames you can use to access these using FTP – usually the IP address or the server hostname. Your login credentials will stay the same, but if the domain names are expired, you’ll need to change the FTP hostname.

You would need to download the files to your local machine, then upload them to the new location.
