MultiAdmin and SRV records

I have a hosting package with MultiAdmin

If i’m not mistaken, i remembered that in the past it was possible to add SRV records. Now you have to send a request to add those.

Why has this option been taken away?

Hello Charles,

SRV records are rarely needed, and can cause quite a few issues if set up incorrectly. The interaction with our DNS servers with complicated and uncommon records means we prefer our support team set these up when needed. We are happy to do so, and are available 24/7 for this, or any other requests you may have.
