How do I move a site registered elsewhere to site5

Hi, I have a domain purchased elsewhere and I would like to keep the registration there. So I just changed the DNS for that domain (dns.site5.com and dns2.site5.com).

Now I guess I have to register or do some setup for that domain on site5 backstage. I can only find out how to register (purchase) new domains and configure the domain I already have there.

Hope I am being clear on this 🙂

If you are just looking to host the domain with us, and keep the registration where it is, you can simply sign up for a hosting plan from our main site, or – if you have a hosting plan already – add this domain to it. If you are on HostPro, simply use the AddOn Domains icon within SiteAdmin (not BackStage), and set it up there. If you are on HostPro+Turbo, you can use the Create A Site link in MultiAdmin to do this.

Hi jdavey,
I do have HostPro and I just found it thank you a bunch. I found this a bit confusing as I have to locate to site admin with my other domain to add a new domain. I also saw in backstage a “Add-ons” tab with domain migration features, but I am cleared up now. Thanks again.
