Our organization uses webmail exclusively because the IT function is supported by volunteers. I’ve had a request for our organization to be able to share contacts and calendars.

Unfortunately there is no way that I am aware of to do this within any of our webmail clients. A lot of people that need functionality like this look at Google apps or similar services because of the options that are made available to you. There are also other web mail clients out there that might have the functionality that you need, I am just not aware of any off hand.
