Is there a way to set up an email alias with a wildcard?

[4 Grey Star Level]

Google’s GMail has a handy feature where you can use “[email protected]” as your email address. This allows for creating email aliases on the fly for use with questionable sources, for easily tracking different uses, etc. I would love to be able to create a single alias like “username+*@example.com” which would allow me to use “[email protected]” addresses without having to configure each forwarder individually ahead of time.

I was unable to find any syntax on the Forwarders configuration page that accomplished this. I was also unable to find where email forwarders are stored in my account to attempt to edit my settings manually.

Is something like this possible for me to set up, or to add as a new feature?
