Outlook 2013 Test Email Not Coming to In-box

Outlook Change Account “test account settings” in email not coming to inbox. However emails sent from my Outlook Account do come to the inbox.

The settings are correct but I must have something wrong but it is eluding me.

Any suggestions to fix this would be most appreciated.

The ‘test account settings’ tool in Outlook rarely works correctly, and I have never seen it deliver an actual message. It simply tests the mail servers and the ports specified, to make sure it can connect. If you mail is working normally, that is the best test 🙂

My experience has been that the test email has always arrived in my inbox. This is the first time that it hasn’t. Nonetheless your point about my email working is a good one.
