Is there an api/function that can be used from a unix script to query my account’s current daily resource point usage?

Shared hosting accounts have a set ‘resource point’ limit, calculated daily. Rather than logging in five times a day to SiteAdmin, is there a way to write a shell script that runs on crontab, which queries the current resource point level and sends an alert to the account holder if the result is within xx% of the limit? That would alert the account holder to start optimizing, or to check for DoS attacks, before getting queued for automatic upgrading.

Hello,

I hope this reply finds you well!

We don’t currently have a way to do what you asked. However it is a great idea!

I have passed your request over to our internal team and they are going to look into the possibility of adding that functionality to our Resource Points system. Unfortunately I don’t have an estimated time on if/when a system like that will be ready to go live.

Thanks again for the great idea and I will keep you updated as more information is available.
