How do I install wordpress before the domain is live?

I have added an account in WHM for a domain that has not yet had the DNS changed at the registrar. I would like to set up and modify a website using WordPress before changing the DNS so that it can’t be seen live until I’m ready.

Can I do this, and will it work while I test? or is there a better way to configure WordPress in advance please.

It explains how to view and manage WordPress prior to changing the DNS.
