How can I unsubscribe from receiving Site5 KnowledgeBase questions?

[3 Grey Star Level]

I posted a question in the Site5 KnowledgeBase and I’ve received notification of every question posted since then. I’m interesting in seeing responses to my own question, but not others. Where can I adjust notification/subscription settings for this?

I really would like to know the answer to this also.

Why don’t we have that option to unsubscribe from our account page? Isn’t it also required by the anti spamming law that you place an unsubscribe link in the emails you send us?

From: http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus61-can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business

Tell recipients how to opt out of receiving future email from you. Your message must include a clear and conspicuous explanation of how the recipient can opt out of getting email from you in the future. Craft the notice in a way that’s easy for an ordinary person to recognize, read, and understand. Creative use of type size, color, and location can improve clarity. Give a return email address or another easy Internet-based way to allow people to communicate their choice to you. You may create a menu to allow a recipient to opt out of certain types of messages, but you must include the option to stop all commercial messages from you. Make sure your spam filter doesn’t block these opt-out requests.

I don’t even remember opting in to these notifications.

Nope that isn’t correct, this isn’t an email sent by us, nor a mailing list, its a notification an update from something you signed up for and fully automatic.

If you want to unsubscribe just email like John explained. We don’t have an automatic method currently due to the software used to power the Q and A.

We would also be happy to remove your account entirely if you would like, just let us know,
Thanks, Ben
