How to upgrade from moodle 2.0 to moodle 2.6

[2 Grey Star Level]

I have just installed on my domain Moodle 2.0 using Site Admin as it is the only Moodle version available on SiteAdmin.
Anyway, the Moodle version I need is Moodle 2.6

Should I upgrade Moodle from 2.0 to 2.6?
Should I delete the version 2.0 and install from scratch 2.6?
How could I do it?
What is your recommendation?
Thank you,

Luis

Hi Luis,

It is always preferred that you have the latest version of a script like this installed, but you should not need to remove the existing installation to upgrade. Moodle has a guide on how to upgrade in their support docs, at http://docs.moodle.org/26/en/Upgrading, which should help you out.

Have a great day!

Thank you very much. I am not an Unix expert but I will try to install Moodle 2.6 following your recommendation.
