How do I know if cloudflare works with my site?

I have setup a free account with cloudflare as suggested and activated it for my web site.
I also provided the api key in my wordpress w3 cache plugin.
How can I know if my site content goes through cloudflare?
I tried traceroute but didn’t saw anyting related to cloudflare.

A traceroute or a ping test should point to the CloudFlare IPs if everything is set up correctly.

Thank you, this is what I have tested since few days, both traceroute and ping.
All requests go to my site5 ip address.
In my .htaccess, since I enabled cloudflare in cpanel, I have the rewrite condition to redirect http://mysite to http://www.mysite (CNAME request for cloudflare)
In my wordpress w3 cache plugin, I enabled cloudflare and followed the cloudfare documentation to fill up w3 cache entries.
But…still not on cloudflare….
