Is it possible to use A CNAME as my primary domain record?

Unfortunately, our DNS system does not allow this. However, we can change the www record so that it can be used as a CNAME.

You could also setup a redirect in the root of your non-www domain so that it automatically redirects visitors to the www CNAME. For more information about this, please see the following link:
