How do you setup SPF and DKIM records in DNS?

[3 Grey Star Level]

I use Google Apps for my mail and the instructions there do not include how this should be setup for Site 5 unfortunately. I created two TXT records as such to get around this, but I cannot be sure that they are right?

Record Name:
TTL: 3600
TXT Data: v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIG….

Record Name:
TTL: 3600
TXT Data: v=spf1 ~all

Does anyone know the correct answer here?

You can either have site5 do it for you:

Or you just need to change the MX records for your domain.

Changing mx records:

Google apps MX record configuration:

The priority and destination values on the right side of the table are the ones you want.

You can use the TXT record type for the SPF DNS entry. For more details on how to add a TXT record, please see this article:

Unfortunately, we don’t support DKIM entries at this time. However, it is something we are working on adding.
