As a long time customer, I find it absolutely infuriating that you would remove the forums!

The forums were the first place I would go to look for information, get advice from fellow patrons, and just see what was going on.

By taking this away, you have not only put up a barrier between all of us, but you have done us a big dis-service!

When will you bring the forums back!?

I so agree.

I never understand the need to fix something, when its already working.
the forums was GREAT as above, its was always the first place to get and get help and most of the time people would help out.

This new way, i dont find it as good..

Plus there was a lot of usefull info that the community posted on them forums and now there is now way to search or look that info up.

BUT i am not counting on every seeing the forums return, so looks like with stuck with this. 🙁

Hello,

I can certainly understand and appreciate your love of the forum! I too love the interactional focus of forums. For now, we’re shifting focus to this QA and KB sites.

About 8 months or so ago, we drastically revamped the forums. In that process, we actually removed (hid) old threads from view. After discussing with staff about any threads they referenced to customers as well as consulting some customers directly, we determined that 99.9% of the threads were actually outdated. While the information was once accurate, that was no longer the case.

We may bring back the forums at a later date, but that is yet to be determined. The idea certainly isn’t to stifle communication but to change the location of that communication from the forums to this site.
